Pre School Program

Ages 3 - 5 years, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Our Preschool Program is the most fun and educational day you can give your child. Activities include a hands-on fun academic curriculum, daily gymnastics and creative music & movement class. We offer a 2, 3, or 5-day program depending on birth date, availability, and your preference. Two Day Preschool meets on Tuesday and Thursday. Three Day Preschool meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Early Drop, Stay & Play.

Extended Hours Available

We offer Early Drop at 8:00 a.m. and Extended Care until 6:30 p.m. Early Drop allows your child to have additional playtime and art activities. Extended Care includes a rest time, art activities, story time outside play and gymnastics activities.

Classroom Time

Our teachers will introduce letter and number recognition, phonics, counting, manipulatives to improve fine motor skills, writing, art activities, science, cooking, Spanish and more. Our teachers reinforce social skills, listening and speaking skills, good manners and developing friendships. Pre-K class activities emphasize the necessary Kindergarten-readiness skills: writing letters and numbers, phonics, pre-reading activities, sequencing, grouping, patterns, and more. While lessons for both preschool and Pre-K students are "hands-on" and reinforced in creative ways, our visiting guest speakers and field trip enhance the curriculum. Students are provided a morning snack during classroom time and would need to bring a lunch if staying a full day.

Gymnastics Time

A safety-certified gym instructor will enhance your child's large motor skills, while introducing basic gymnastics skills, coordination, flexibility, and strength on beginner gymnastics equipment. Your child will also have the opportunity to participate in our Skills Challenge program. This is a University of Gymnastics tradition for our students! Your child will be evaluated five times throughout the school year and will earn stars as new skills are achieved. These stars are sewn on the official leotard for girls and T-shirt for boys. The children are so proud of their stars!

Music and Movement Time

During music class your child will experience movement to music to develop and improve rhythm, coordination, and balance. In this fun, active class, students will have the opportunity to use a variety of instruments, adorable puppets, colorful ribbons, silly hats, and many more fun props. Our music program also incorporates choreography and music terminology. New music is introduced every month!
